Free tour Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Mala Strana
Tour description
We will cross the Charles Bridge to ascend the largest palace complex in the world, Prague Castle. It is the historical seat of the Czech kings and the current palace where the offices of the head of state, or in other words, the presidency, reside.
We will see at the castle gates, the picturesque courtyard guard, and enter the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral, which was constructed over 600 years!
Within Prague Castle, the most brutal and bloody religious war in European history broke out: the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648).
The writer Franz Kafka also lived within the walls of Prague Castle, located in the charming Golden Lane, which can be visited in the afternoons with our expert guides.
In summer, we will also explore the elegant and splendid gardens of the ancient fortress of the Czech kings. There, we will tell you passages of their lives, love affairs, and amazing, terrible, and beautiful stories.
The tour also includes other points of interest in the Mala Strana district, such as the John Lennon Wall and the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague.
