Leaving at 8:00 p.m. from the door of the town hall located in the Plaza de las Carmelitas, we will begin a tour through the most emblematic streets and squares of the historic center of Vélez-Málaga, discovering monumental buildings and charming corners. Along this way I will tell you stories of the Carmelite convent and the Town Hall, called the "Madrileños", we will talk about the accounts of Cervantes and the close relationship of Vélez with Don Quixote, we will highlight the figure of María Zambrano in the Palace of Los Marquises de Beniel, and walking, we will contemplate the sunset from one of the most beautiful balconies of Vélez-Málaga, the viewpoint of the hermitage of Los Remedios, where we can look out to contemplate one of the most beautiful sunsets on the Costa del Sol , having the Muslim citadel with its strong walls as a witness, next to the slender bell towers of the Convent of San Francisco or the parish of San Juan Bautista, and thus be able to enjoy the extraordinary 360º panoramic views offered by the viewpoints of the garden park de los Remedios from the sea to the mountains with this walk full of history at sunset.
