Tour description

On the occasion of the celebrations (1520-2020) of the fifth centenary of the death of the great Urbino, we want to offer you a journey back in time that takes us to the dawn of 1504 when the young Raphael decided to come to Florence to learn everything he could about the greats of the time, in particular of the two giants who had left an intangible mark in the history of art: Michelangelo and Leonardo. He will not limit himself to studying them, but to understand their intimate language to the point of transforming it into sublime features. In Florence, in contact with the best Florentine families, he will leave a series of portraits and Madonnas that still amaze today for their harmony and rare beauty. At Palazzo Pitti, in the sumptuous halls in which the Medici spent the last 150 years, we will have the opportunity to admire and immerse ourselves in some of these masterpieces such as the "Velado", "La Madonna della Seggiola", Madonna dell 'Impvecchia , the Cardinal of Bibbiena, La Gravida, the gloomy Julius II, etc., without forgetting other masterpieces such as those by Titian, Tintoretto, Rubens, Caravaggio, etc. belonging to the Medici collection. A short trip that will leave an indelible mark on your memory for a long time. Reservations, headphones, entrance ticket at the expense of the visitor.
