The alleys of Genoa: a walk through flavors and curiosities
Tour description
Free walking tour Genoa with tastings
Is it your first time visiting Genoa and you don't know where to start?
Then the experience I propose is just for you: a dive into the daily life of the Genoese to discover places and curiosities in the heart of the historic center!
I am a Genoese tour leader and I will help you orient yourself in the labyrinth of alleys and get to know my city: among Renaissance buildings, medieval towers and baroque churches, you will find yourself in suggestive corners and hidden squares, following a route full of wonders, such as Palazzo San Giorgio, Palazzo Ducale, Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the magnificent noble residences of via Garibaldi. You can also browse through the historic shops to learn about local specialties and taste the artisanal pesto, the Genoese focaccia, and the coffee with panera, an unmissable delight!
The walk will end vertically, via a vintage lift, to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.
At the end of the tour you can count on me for information and advice on excursions, exhibitions, museums, attractions for children, markets, restaurants, bars, trattorias and events.
I'll wait for you next to the "bigo" panoramic lift, near the aquarium, in the ancient port area, not far from the cruise terminal and the Principe train station
