"Take me home, take me to Scotland" Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world full of castles, lakes and islands. Hundreds of important battles have occurred in Scotland that have influenced the history of the world. Scotland is the ancestral home of the Celts and legends like the Loch Ness Monster. Scotland is the country that has inspired some of the most popular stories in the world such as Harry Potter and has been the setting for its important films and series such as Outlander. Scotland is our home, the place where we have raised a family and the place that has allowed us to do what we like the most: Telling the story of this beautiful country and showing it to you.
Are you a fan of Outlander? Do you want to know the industrial city of Falkirk?
We will start the tour in Callendar Park, a place that has it all, including Callendar House , a centuries-old mansion dating back to the 14th century whose visit is free. In addition to the interesting architecture of the house, inside there are permanent exhibitions about its history, about the industrial revolution in the area and about the Antonine Wall. Come with me through this magnificent mansion and visit a kitchen recreated as it would have been in 1825 where the series: Outlander was filmed.
Then we will visit the city center where you can see the typical nineteenth-century architecture of the area and see the beautiful Trinity Church . It is also the perfect place to stop for lunch .
Just five minutes by bus from the center of town is Helix Park , the second place in Falkirk that you should not miss for the world. In this park you will see the two imposing sculptures of the Kelpies.
Take lots of photos of them and be amazed at how big they are!
I will not accompany you to visit the kelpies but I will tell you how to get there.
Minimum 4 people for each tour
Book several hours in advance, thank you very much. See you in the industrial city!
I'll be at the car park entrance in a plaid or tartan
