🥇Free tour 'The best of the Reina SofÃa Museum': Picasso, 'Guernica', DalÃ...
Hello! I am Pablo and these are the reasons why my tour will be exciting for you: 1) I have experience: I've been working as an art journalist for 20 years in museums, TV, radio, newspapers and magazines. 2) I have the knowledge: with a degree in Art History from University College London. And 3) Above all, I have passion: art can help us how to deal with emotions and, therefore, to live a better life.
Tour description
After the success of my Prado Museum free tour and due to your requests, here you are the Reina SofÃa tour!
This guided tour will show you why Picasso is the most important artist of the 20th century. I will tell you the hidden meanings of 'Guernica', the greatest anti-war painting in art history. You will at last know what Cubism really means and you will learn how to enjoy an abstract painting once and for all.
Did you know the wonderful love story of Salvador DalÃ? Have you heard that he was terribly afraid of women? Get ready to learn how to interpret the Surrealism 'madness', to find out the tricks of the very best international photojournalists and to discover some extraordinary unjustly forgotten women artists.
After this tour you will at last be able to say, 'I understand modern art!'. Even more, you'll love it!
Small groups: no more than 6 people per tour.
IMPORTANT: you must buy the tickets to the museum before the starting hour of the route. So, please arrive at the meeting point at the appointed time with the tickets already purchased. You have two options:
- Â On the website (entradas.museoreinasofia.es). Ideal. Without queues. No lines.
- Â At the ticket office: there are usually queues, so we recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the starting hour of the tour in order to have time to buy them.
If you have questions, get in contact with me and I'll help you. ;-)
