I was born and raised in Hong Kong. I am a licensed tour guide and a solo traveller who explored over 20 countries. I lived in South America for a year, and studied in Europe for a year. Hong Kong is known for its wealth gap. One-fifth of Hongkongers live in poverty. Homelessness is on the rise in Hong Kong.
Where do people go if they want to get legal drugs ( Methadone ) ? Where do the poor go if they run out of money? Where do the poor go if they get sick? Where do the poor go if they want to have a hair cut?
In the 3 hours tour, I will show you how the poor people make a living and where the homeless people stay. From globalisation to government policy, some hong kongers struggle to make ends meet. By the end of the tour, you will understand the difference between the rooftop house, subdivided flats, coffin house and cage house.
Strongly suggest visitors to come, and discover the other side of Hong Kong.
Meeting Point: We will meet at Sham Shui Po MTR Exit D2 (Kweilin Street).

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
