Welcome to the Alcalá World Heritage Tour! (English Tour, please contact me)

This tour provides the perfect introduction to a city with a history spanning more than two millennia . You'll learn the ins and outs of what was and is the world's first university city thanks to Cardinal Cisneros, what Alcalá was like in the 3 cultures , and the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra , author of Don Quixote de la Mancha.

We'll start at the San Bernardo Arch , a quiet, less-trafficked spot in the Old Town, allowing us to explore all the main tourist spots from least to greatest , ultimately reaching the University , the highlight of the tour. We'll unpack everything at the end like a good novel, filled with fun facts and explanations ;)

We will visit the exterior (we enter the Oidor Chapel except for the 7:00 p.m. summer group):
