Tour description

Xi'an City Wall was my favorite place to visit as a traveller in Xi'an, especially the cycling! The views are spectacular, the stories are touching, and the wisdom behind the city wall is inspiring.
However I found that almost no one leads foreign tourists to cycle on the city wall. So I decided to to become the tour guide start leading foreign friends cycling on the city wall and share my love of the city with them.

In this Xi'an City Wall Cycling experience, we will:

hear stories and history of the city wall over 1000 years
take small walk to the stating point to claim the bikes
Cycly for 13km on the city wall
Stop on 5 special spots to take photos and tell stories
Finish tour at Wenchang Gate to understand the city wall's transitions in times, and its effects on today's Xi'An City layout.

As I used to be a translator, I have rich experience as a traveler;
As I have worked as a study tour instructor, I have rich knowledge of Xi'an history and know how to tell the beautiful history of the city;
As I like taking photos, I will be happy to take great photos for you and make your trip memorable;
As I am professionally trained, I am super good at taking family tours.

Extra payment need to be paid:

City Wall Ticket: 54RMB/ adult, 27RMB/ kid( under 1.2m)
Bike rental: 45RMB/ single bike( within 3 hours), 90RMB/ 2 person bike ( within 3 hours)
Tour Guide's Bike rental: plz pay for the guide's bike rental fee.

Yong Ning Men, Bei Lin Qu, Xi An Shi, China

I will be at the ticket check point at the grand and obvious gate of YongNingMen, the ONLY entrance facing the drawbridge. I will send a picture of me when I arrive so you will recognize me easily!

Xi'an Wall Yongningmen （North Gate）

We will need to meet each other over there. And that's the place we check the tickets and get into the city wall. We will have a 15 min introdution about the city wall, the construction, the function and brief history of the city wall will be given here,

Wenchangmen Antique City

We walk from Yongningmen to this point "Wenchangmen" to claim the bikes. That's also the starting point of our cycling experience. Along the way we walk from Yongningmen to Wenchangmen, we will also talk about the preservation of of this historical site. 700m distance, 5min walk.

Xi'an Wall Changle Gate

This is our first stop of cycling. We will stop for 2 min, another short introduction will be given here.
