The first step is to enter the Visitor Center to check in. Once there, we go to the auditorium to watch a short film. It's a 3D recreation of the city itself and is great for understanding what it was like. Finally, we'll visit the Archaeological Site, the site of the Shining City.

In summer, we do it at night: a magical experience under the stars and the city illuminated. During the summer, only the site is visited; the Visitor Center is closed.

You only need to pay for the shuttle bus from the visitor center to the site; it's €3. Admission is free, but if you're not an EU citizen, it's €1.50.


If you don't have a way to get to the Archaeological Site, there's a bus from Córdoba that takes you there for €10, which includes the €3 shuttle bus ticket. You can buy a ticket at any tourist office. Remember to buy the 10:00 a.m. ticket to arrive on time for the visit, or the 9:00 p.m. ticket in the summer.
