Tour description

The most beautiful cemetery in the world (that no one knows about)

You will be the only visitors there! The Montjuic Cemetery is the last "undiscovered treasure" of Barcelona.

Don't miss any hidden gems

The cemetery is massive (56 hectares /138 acres)! Your guide will make sure you see all the most beautiful, weird and creepy graves and mausoleums and hear

Art & Architecture

The cemetery is a massive outdoor museum full of sculptures and buildings in widely varying styles:

  • Art Nouveau
  • Neo-Gothic
  • Modernismo
  • Romanesque
  • My favorite style: "just wow"

History & Culture

Hear stories about local people buried here who shaped the history of the city and the regions. People like artists, writers, politicians and mayors.

The most non-touristy thing

This is one of the most off the beaten track "I can't believe no one knows about this" places in Barcelona.

Perfect activity for week long stays in Barcelona. Unique thing to do for couples, groups, solo travelers and lovers of dark tourism, ghost tours.

Transport to and from the city
The cemetery is just outside the city. We meet in a central place from where we'll take a bus. Bring your own transport ticket, or buy it on the bus (€2.65) or buy it off your guide (€1.5)

Busses go everyone 20 minutes, so if you're late we cannot wait.
