Jodhpur is famous for its food – and behind this there is a big true reason I want to share with you. Jodhpur is located in the western part of Rajasthan. Long ago, in this desert region, there was scarcity of water and also of fresh vegetables and fruits. Because of this, our ancestors learned to give value to each and every ingredient, which was hard to get. They discovered how much to use, how to use it in the proper way, and how to prepare food that is full of taste, healthy, colorful, and also quick to cook. This became the daily routine of our cuisine.

Today, Jodhpur’s food is not only delicious but also reflects this history – a perfect balance of flavor, health benefits, and vibrant presentation.
