Tour description

I invite you to walk through more than 500 years of history in the beautiful neighborhood of Belém. We will meet at Afonso de Albuquerque Square to learn about the monumental and unique aspects of Portugal's history through this neighborhood. In its nooks and crannies, we will discover hidden stories that will connect us with unexpected events, both within and outside of Portugal, to discover the origins of the delicious Belém pastries.

We'll learn more about the Jerónimos Monastery and the Plaza del Imperio, in an unexpected leap between the distant past and the present, ending with the compass rose and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos.

I have a degree in History and specialize in Modern History and maritime expeditions, and I'd be happy to guide you on this tour that you're sure to love.
