Hello everyone! I'm Nursultan, but you can just call me Nick. I'm a doctor and I studied and lived in Bishkek for eight years. After that, I spent over a year in Mainz, Germany. Germans used to ask me, "Where is Kyrgyzstan?" – and now they say, "What was the capital city again, Almaty?" 😊 I'm so happy that more and more people are discovering our country! My three passions are medicine, real estate, and tourism. I'm currently training to be a real estate agent, but I dedicate my free time to tourism. I want to show you not only our food, nature, and history, but also our mentality – how we think and why we are the way we are. Tour description
Meeting point: At the statue with the horse.
From there, we'll take a leisurely 15-20 minute stroll through the heart of Bishkek. Afterwards, we'll head to the famous Osh Bazaar – a place where you can experience a true piece of our culture! Here you can find everything from a tiny thread to gold. I'll explain how everything works and what marketing tricks the locals use.
You can buy souvenirs here on the very first day, so you don't have to postpone it until the last minute.
Afterwards, we'll take a local bus (only 20 cents!) to the main square, where we'll stroll around again and try a samsa with tea – delicious, triangular pastries filled with meat. I'm sure you'll love them! And for vegetarians, there are versions with potatoes or pumpkin.
Finally, we return to our starting point, exchange contact information – and hopefully we'll remain friends for life! 😊
