Highly recommend a tour with Lisa. Despite being the only one on the tour she still ran it despite the awful rain and showed me around the main spots in Chongqing. Lisa was always asking for my opinions and trying to personalise the tour for me. This was amazing of her to do. She was extremely knowledgeable and interactive during our tour. Lisa was also very easy to talk to. Felt like a city walk around somewhere with an old friend. Lisa took me to some delicious food spots and gave recommendations too - potato skin was fantastic! Lisa also communicated with me prior to the tour , giving me advice on trips etc. Please do book a tour with her - you won't regret it!

Great walking tour in Chongquing particularly for first time visitors, given a whistle stop highlights of key areas within walking distance, taken to the best stops to see the night sights with the best route to maximise time. Chen was very knowledgeable. He took extra time to show me the drone show at the end of the tour. 5*

I was very lucky to have Lisa as a guide - super friendly and chatty, full of interesting info that I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere else! She was very flexible on the route we took which was great, and found me some great hidden spots for food and drink at the end of the tour, which was invaluable for me as someone who was travelling solo and with no Mandarin skills! Can absolutely recommend

Chen was a fantastic guide, offered us loads of great info about the areas we walked through and picked some really scenic spots that seem lesser-travelled by most tourists, even in the really busy part of Chongqing’s downtown. He was also great for recommending shops, activities, do’s and don’ts, what’s worth seeing and what should be avoided, so if you’re in Chongqing for several days then I’d recommend booking Chen for your first day so then you know how to spend the rest of your visit. And if you’re travelling solo, he’ll be a great photographer for you!

Lisa was a wonderful guide in Chongqing. Super knowledgable, polite, and really local—she knew all the best spots and timing. Very good value for the day. I’d 100% take her again for a full day tour.

Me avisó el mismo día, casi a las 12h que era la única persona para el tour de la tarde. Me dijo que me podía unir a los 4 que hacían el tour a las 12h pero ya eran las 12h y no estaba en el punto de encuentro. Además me dijo que esperaba mínimo 200 yuanes. Lo siento pero lo "free tours" no funcionan así. No puedes pedir. Entiendo que no va a hacer un tour para 1 sola persona pero tiene que avisar con más tiempo. No había visitado las cosas que supuestamente íbamos a ver con él y menos mal que me ha dado tiempo de ver lo imprescindible por mí misma. Estoy acostumbrada a hacer free tour y es la primera vez que me pasa. Igualmente ha sido amable en sus mensajes pero falta organización.

We explored different parts of Chongqing with Lisa and got a great overall impression of the city. She was very knowledgeable, flexible, and adapted the tour to our needs. She also kindly helped us order less spicy food, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the tour with Lisa. She contacted us ahead of time to confirm the meeting time and location, and went ahead with the tour even though it was just the two of us. This was the best Guru Walk I’ve taken so far—and I’ve done quite a few. We were lucky enough to be the only participants, which made the experience even more personal.
