Even though I was the only one who showed up for the tour, Nurbubu was fantastic. She was friendly, had excellent knowledge on the culture and history of Kyrgyzstan, and was a great storyteller. I highly enjoyed the tour; it had a comfortable pace and I got to see many grand monuments. The final stop, the grand mosque, was incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend when in Bishkek.

What really set this experience apart was how far he went to make sure we had the best possible time. After our original tour, he took us on an additional tour to show us the national park. We learned so much—not just about the landmarks, but also about daily life, local traditions, and the country’s fascinating history. Nurbubu was the sweetest person we've met during the trip across 4 stans. She speaks great English and explained everything in a very organized way. The length of the route was just about right - not too tiring and not too short. At the end of the tour she helped other tour members with taxi and she helped me with bus tickets as well. Highly recommended!!

I would highly recommend this tour as a great introduction to Bishkek/Kyrgyzstan (especially for first-time visitors to Kyrgyzstan) if you want to learn more about the country’s history and its people. It was especially enjoyable traveling around Kyrgyzstan afterward, as everything made much more sense thanks to the background information from the tour. We had a great time with our guide, Azizbek. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. When it started to rain, he kindly drove us around the city by car. As our tour was on a Sunday, we got the opportunity to smaller bazaar nearby. You can truly feel his love for his country and his passion for sharing it with others. Go ahead, take a stroll around the city, and dive into Kyrgyzstan’s rich history :)

A fun and casual stroll around town. Our guide, Saule, was knowledgeable and passionate, providing plenty of interesting historical anecdotes to go with the sites explored.

Saule was an excellent guide and made my Guru free walking tour of Bishkek a fantastic experience. Despite two people dropping out at the last minute, she still went ahead with the tour just for me, which I really appreciated. She shared a wide range of interesting facts throughout, and was always happy to answer questions in detail. It was clear she is genuinely passionate about her country—she spoke with real enthusiasm about Kyrgyz culture, history, and daily life. The tour itself was varied and engaging, with plenty of different stops, and even included the chance to try some national drinks and food, which added a really authentic touch. Saule’s English was very good, and she explained everything clearly and confidently. Overall, a really interesting and diverse tour led by a knowledgeable and dedicated guide. I can highly recommend.
