Best things to do and see in Cáceres

Cáceres is a town located in the autonomous community of Extremadura, in the westernmost part of Spain. Founded by the ancient Romans, it still maintains vestiges of the cultures that occupied the place, highlighting a varied architecture between the Gothic and Renaissance styles in the part of the old quarter with cobblestone streets from the medieval period, as well as fortified buildings. Within the monumental aspect, highlights the Moorish wall that dates from the twelfth century and has about 30 towers.

One of the best ways to get to know this city is to do it in the company of a local guide to visit the corners and less common and known secrets.
