The tour is beautiful and combines culture, nature, religion and history in a very entertaining and easy-going way. There is some uphill walking, but the scenery and tea plantations are gorgeous. Highly recommended if you want to see a different side of Hangzhou! Jackie was a great guide.

Jacky is knowledgeable with history, politics and versed with wisdom about the tour which made it a relatable experience paired with beautiful views of the tea fields and nature. Highly recommended tour if you like moderate hiking (bring appropriate shoes so you can walk through small creeks) with history.

Siendo sincero, no esperaba que pudiera disfrutar y aprender tanto en un FreeTour. Jacky es un guía muy capaz que no sólo te da una explicación detallada, aunque muy amena de los lugares que vais recorriendo juntos, sino que además te ofrece una agradable conversación con la que siento que he podido aprender mucho de este país tan interesante que es China. Sin duda, se la recomendaría a todo el mundo. Eso sí, ¡estad preparados! El primer tramo del recorrido es algo exigente. ¡Gracias por todo, Jacky!

Jacky è stato molto disponibile, abbiamo posticipato il tour per facilitarci con gli orari, è stato più lungo delle 4 ore, abbiamo inziato alle 11:30 e terminato alle 16:30 circa, ma un’oretta l’abbiamo spesa a pranzo nel villaggio. Purtroppo non abbiamo visto le cascate perché la strada è stata bloccata per la pioggia, ma il panorama delle piantagioni di tè è stato incredibile. Ha iniziato a piovere un po’ e abbiamo continuato lo stesso, è stato molto suggestivo. Consigliato!

Haichuan is a really wonderful tour guide and very passionate about his work and meeting people from around the world. He introduced me to the Grand Canal of Hangzhou and its importance throughout history. He also bought me his favorite tea and we had lunch at one of the local favorites. A truly perfect way to spend a Saturday morning.

Shoutout to Fanzhi for such a chill and fun tour along the ancient Grand Canal. The itinerary was perfect—loved checking out the unique umbrella museum right by the river, and the nearby commercial street added such a fun, vibrant energy to the whole experience. Fanzhi is super knowledgeable and has the best relaxed vibe. Would recommend touring with her!

We really loved this tour, and we recommend it! It is a lovely walk in the tea plantation and also exploring the gorgeous Faxi temple, one of the most beautiful we have seen in China. In the end we walked to 9 Creeks and saw a nice waterfall. Jackie kept our spirits high during the hike, despite the very hot weather and the steps we had to climb.

Jacky (Wen) has been an amazing guide. His tour is a combination of learning and awe. We hiked, walked, stopped for sight, laughed, and talked. He's very helpful all throughout. The tour was well thought out. I could sense that he really knows the tour and route inside and out. Since I was not used to hiking, he was there to motivate me and wait for me. We also ate at this wonderful place that I will remember for a long time. So if you are still having second thoughts with this, this is the sign to book Jacky (Wen)'s tour.

Me and my brother had a great trip with Jacky. We went to see longjing tea village, faxi temple and other places around the park (inc nine creek). He showed us a route through the tea village that is very pretty. He also took us to a really nice tea shop. Really enjoyed our time with Jacky, he took a good care of us!

This tour was such a great experience from start to finish! Jacky is a wonderful guide who is genuinely nice. Thanks to him, I learned so many interesting facts about local Chinese culture and history that I never would have discovered on my own. The route is beautiful and walking through the tea plantations is definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Increíble recorrido por las montañas donde se encuentra el templo Faxi, las plantaciones de te, la aldea del te de Longhing, el complejo Zhijiang y la ruta de los nueve arroyos. Muy buen recorrido a través de la montaña.

Very nice walk around the Hangzhou Grand Canal area with museums, historical places, nice little streets and shops which I would definitely never have discovered on my own ! Fanzhi is super nice, highly recommended if you come to Hangzhou ☺️

This was one of the highlights of our time in Hangzhou. The hike through the tea villages and hidden trails was stunning, with beautiful tea plantations that were perfect for photography. It felt very authentic and not something we would have found on our own. We made a mistake with the Didi drop-off location and arrived about 2 hours late, but the guide was incredibly understanding and communicative. They kept in touch, helped direct us to the right spot, and adjusted the plan so we could still fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Along the way, we learned a lot about tea culture, had some really nice conversations with locals, and enjoyed a delicious chicken soup for lunch. Overall, a well-organized and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

I have been on many guided tours, but this one was truly something special. Special thanks go to Haichuan, whose approach was so friendly and warm that it felt as if we were spending time with a friend rather than simply being guided on a tour. He shared many fascinating stories, not only about the history of Hangzhou and the Grand Canal, but also about a variety of other topics, including the modern Chinese car industry, while we walked along the marvelous shores of the canal. We enjoyed the experience so much that after the tour, we even went for tea at his favorite tea bar and continued our conversation there. I sincerely hope to stay in touch with him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience. And by the way, his English is excellent. Matija
