Hanoi Food Tour

Excellent food tour of Hanoi, trying the more unique and niche dishes that we wouldn’t otherwise try. Melody was an excellent guide, very funny, and spoke amazing English. She even taught us some good Vietnamese words too so we got a language lesson as well as a food tour! Would highly recommend

This tour was a great way to see the city and try the authentic cuisine of Hanoi. Melody is an exceptional host. She made everyone feel very comfortable and she shared her knowledge of Vietnam including the history and the language. I strongly recommend this tour and Melody as a host !

Great tour! You are visiting places/restaurants which you wouldn't choose by yourself as a tourist (also the reason why I go for food tours in bigger cities). Also all the food and explanations by melody during the tour was really good!

We had the best time on the food tour! We tried a lot of authentic food at local places that we wouldn‘t have found without Melody. While trying the different dishes she also gave us interesting insight into the history of the restaurants and the food. Overall we had a great experience and coudn‘t recommend the tour with Melody enough!!

Melody’s tour was really nice! We ate a lot but quality and discovered not the tourist food 👌🏻 Go with it without a doubt!

Great food tour, melody is a fantastic guide, took us to some authentic places that would be easy to miss without a local recommendation and contextualized the food we tried with deep cultural knowledge. She answered all our questions and was very conscious of allergies, vegetarianism and other preferences. Wonderful tour, great guide, definitely recommended!

Melody introduced us to Vietnamese cuisine in Hanoi in such a warm and charming way. She chose wonderful local eateries with vegetarian options that we would never have discovered on our own. She also shared lots of additional recommendations with us and kindly offered to help if we have any further questions. We had a fantastic experience and can highly recommend her!

What an amazing experience with an amazing women! I learned a lot about the different vegetarian options in Hanoi and ate some really great food. Melody went out of her way to be helpful and gave out so much information about Hanoi --not all of it was just related to the food. I HIGHLY recommend going with Melody, you will not regret it!

We had a really, really great evening on the vegetarian food tour with Tommy! He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and he explained so much about the food, the local culture, and Hanoi along the way. We visited some really cool places, including a few hidden spots that we probably would never have found on our own. Tommy also had a great variety of food options, so we could choose what we felt like trying, which made the tour feel very personal and relaxed. Overall, it was a wonderful evening with great food, interesting stories, and a really nice atmosphere. We can absolutely recommend this tour, and especially Tommy as a guide!!!

Hièn was an excellent host. She didn’t cancel as I was the only one booked. I booked on another tour, but it got cancelled as there was only myself booked. Hièn was committed and took me around the tour and we had a great time exchanging stories about ourselves. I think enjoyed our conversation about our families and our shared history of Vietnam. I would recommend her as a guide and hope the best for her future.
