We really loved the Tour! Minka is a lovely guide who provided us with lots of interesting information about the history of the city, the current life of locals and the Slovenian culture. The food she offered for tasting was delicious and partly home-made by her. As the group was really small, we could ask questions whenever we wanted more information. She also provided lots of interesting information on what else one should do or see in Ljubljana, where to eat traditional food, where to find water fountains… You could really feel that she loves what she does and that made it a great experience. Minka was amazing. I learned so much, not just about the history but about Ljubljana now. You can tell that Minka is passionate about what she does, and I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Fabulous tour. We covered all the main sites and many that we would not have found by ourselves. Just the right balance of history and interesting facts about life for the people living there. Good food recommendations as well. Highly recommended. Jagoda was engaging and has a great sense of humour.

Our trip was exceptional thanks to our guide, a Brazilian who married a local. His unique "outsider looking in" perspective offered surprising insights into the city's culture and daily life. He wove together rich history, key years, important names, and local myths, expertly connecting architectural styles, the positioning of buildings and bridges, and nature's role in Ljubljana city's organic growth. This blend of factual depth and personal insight, revealing how the charming old city evolved according to its people's needs.

Her English is excellent and she made the tour very entertaining. She didn’t just tell us that this statue was this, or that building was that, she brought them alive with snippets of info that made learning interesting for all, whilst never making things too simplistic.
