I took the guided tour of Regensburg with Johannes as my tour guide, and it was an outstanding experience. Johannes is deeply knowledgeable, very approachable and genuinely enthusiastic about his city. He’s also responsive and flexible; Johannes asked which areas of city history I was most interested in, and then emphasized those elements on the tour. (As well as generously sharing information on where to shop and eat in the city.) In 20 years of taking walking tours in many different places, this one really stands out. Johannes is both extraordinarily well informed about the city and also a great communicator - so the tour was enjoyable as well as informative. I highly recommend Johannes and this tour to anyone who’s interested in the history of Regensburg and is looking for an expert guide and a truly memorable experience.

We booked the tour at the last minute, and to our surprise, we were the only ones there. We had Johannes all to ourselves and really enjoyed it; he answered all our questions, and thanks to his knowledge, we were able to immerse ourselves in Regensburg’s history as we walked through its streets. His recommendations for restaurants and nightlife spots were excellent. We highly recommend it.

Die Tour von Michael durch die Regensburger Altstadt war phänomenal. Seine offene und begeisterte Art, die Routenplanung und die vermittelten Informationen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Michael ist auf die Bedürfnisse und Fragen der Gruppe aufmerksam eingegangen und man hat gemerkt, dass ihm die Tour ebenfalls viel Freude macht, wodurch seine Begeisterung für die Stadt genauso auf uns übergeschwappt ist. Johannes has the perfect personality for a tour guide and made me feel comfortable as a solo tourist. He made sure he included the topics I was interested in and provided great info days prior to the tour. He was genuine and approachable, thanks Johannes!

Johannes ist ein super sympathischer guide, der gut auf seine Gäste eingeht. Er kann interessant und witzig über Regensburg erzählen und hat ein grosses Wissen über die Geschichte und Kultur der Stadt. Wir waren nur zu zweit, so dass die Tour sehr individuell war. Eine absolute Empfehlung bei einem Besuch in Regensburg.

Johannes war nicht nur super sympathisch sondern auch sehr kompetent. Wir hatten eine nette Gruppe in überschaubarer Größe. Wir haben viel Interessantes erfahren. Absolute Empfehlung!
