The tour had a great progression from the old town to the modern parts of the city\. I would have preferred a bit less historical information and more alternative stops—street art, abandoned places, underground spots, or areas where young locals actually hang out\. I’d love to see more tours like this, rather than ones focused almost entirely on the Old Town’s history\.

Wir wurden zu Markthallen, einem unter Stalin errichteten Gebäude, dem Standort der ehemaligen größten Synagoge Rigas und dem Freiheitsmonument geführt. Wir erfuhren sehr viel Wissenswertes und Interessantes über die Stadt, das Land und dessen Geschichte. Darüberhinaus lernten wir Spezialitäten des Landes kennen. Wir wurden sehr professionell und freundlich geführt.

Quite interesting tour by Kaspars. He presented a lot of interesting facts. At the end of the tour in Art Nouveau quarter we missed some interesting buildings as the time was over.

This was one of the best walking tour I've seen. The guides explanations very easy to follow and very interesting. He gave a very well rounded overview about the history of Riga from middle ages until modern polititics. I can highly recommend this tour!

Liga war eine super Fremdenführerin, die wirklich interessante Dinge über Lettland erzählen konnte, die über Daten und Fakten hinaus gingen; so wie die Informationen präsentiert wurden, konnten wir uns außergewöhnlich viel davon merken und haben während unserer Reise immer mal wieder darüber gesprochen. Außerdem hatte Liga einen fantastischen Humor und eine wirklich tolle Ausstrahlung. Die Tour hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Ligas Tipps zu günstigen Restaurants und coolen Ausgeh-Locations (auf Anfrage unsererseits) waren auch ganz nach unserem Geschmack.

Ieva es una guía local muy profesional que habla perfectamente español. Es una persona muy dinámica y abierta. Al ser local te da una perspectiva diferente y te cuenta todo sobre su cultura e historia con mucha pasión. Se nota que se dedica a la historia y al arte y que le encanta su trabajo. Nos enseñó los lugares más emblemáticos del centro histórico de Riga y nos dió consejos y recomendaciones muy útiles.

Our tour guide (forgot her name), was a wonderful lady with so much knowledge. Although she knew so much, she gave us the perfect amount of history and present day information to enjoy the tour. Definitely recommend!
