David was very knowledgeable, and he expressed himself with passion for Villa de Leyva. We were delighted with the tour and highly recommend it for people of all ages.

We had a wonderful tour around Villa de Leyva with David and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and local culture, and he shared everything with genuine passion and kindness. What really made the experience special was how thoughtful he was with my mother-in-law, who doesn’t speak English. David kindly translated for her throughout the tour, making her feel fully included and comfortable, something we truly appreciated. The only small downside for us was the stop at a cocoa shop, which felt a bit like a tourist trap. Although the lady there was very nice and we did buy and try some products, the stop lasted much longer than necessary and became a bit boring. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would absolutely recommend David to anyone visiting Villa de Leyva who wants an informative, friendly, and well-organised tour. I would recommend.

Unfortunately the tour didn’t take place, despite reaching out to the guide on the morning of the tour. she contacted us afterwards and informed us, she had problems with the webpage and didn’t receive our bookings. So my recommendation to the persons booking tour in the future would be to contact the guide well in advance to make sure the tour will take place.

We had a beautiful morning with Maria José in Villa de Leyva. She is very prepared and gave us a taste of the main characters, colonial architecture and overall history of the town. Her tips for food and coffee were very much appreciated and the visit to the chocolate place was a neat touch! 100% recommended
