Sovit’s was unavailable but, his brother Badri was there to provide the tour. The tour started on time and Badri took me around to places like Asan Market, Kathmandu Durbar Square alongside a few others. It was a great experience overall and Badri was very knowledgeable about Nepali history. I would recommend booking this tour if you are interested in learning more about the country.

Manoj showed us the real Thamel; hidden alleys with gourmet street food you’d never would find by yourself. In a picturesque/photogenic setting you won’t find on Discovery Manoj revealed the real Thamel, guiding us through hidden alleys to gourmet street food that we would never have found on our own. The setting was beautifully picturesque—a genuinely authentic experience you won't find on a mass-market travel channel. His tour was a blessing; it saved us after two nights of aimlessly wandering Thamel, constantly trying to avoid persistent hawkers, chaotic motorbike traffic, and aggressive touts.

Ganesh took us through the Hindu temple that is an important and fuctioning site of human creations. It was a very meaningful experience and he gave us all the information to be able to accurately interpret the rituals that we were seeing being performed. He also answered the many questions we had about Nepali life and the Hindu faith.

Ganesh was an excellent guide! He told us a lot about the rituals of cremation, hindu religion and culture, history of the faith of the nepalese people and more. It was a pleasure to listen to him and he received our (many!) questions really well. I would 100% recommend doing this tour with him to understand the area and rituals you are seeing there.

Best tour to discover ancient kathmandu. Best guide who is letting us to understand the foundation of the ancient kathmandu. Convincing thoughts, evidence and knowledge. It's not easy to become such a knowledgeable person. Fascinating history of kathmandu is still waiting for rediscovered. Yadab is Gem. Our heartfelt thanks to his knowledge. Our respect goes to the Ajima of kathmandu, Matriarchal footprints of ancient kathmandu. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful walking tour with Yadab. We had just arrived to Kathmandu, so Yadab gave us our very first cultural introduction to the city, its people, their beliefs and deities. We found the matriarchal/patriarchal duality extremely interesting, Yadab has a great knowledge and he is very kind to share it. We particularly enjoyed that this was a walking tour different from the regular touristy ones, and it helped a lot in our understanding of the many temples spread around the city, as we later walked on our own, looking for the many details Yadab taught us. We highly recommend it!

Loved the tour and all the information Manoj gave! Not only was it a food tour but he also provided a list with tips and to do’s in Kathmandu.

Had a great time on the tour with Manoj he is a very nice guy and easy to talk to, answers all the questions he can and teaches you a lot about Nepali food and lifestyle. And being taken to food spots you wouldn’t find unless you knew they were there is a massive bonus, on top of how good the food is! Definitely recommend!

Great guide, kind, takes good pictures but his english is hard to understand

A very informative and immersive tour! I'm grateful to have been guided by someone with lots of knowledge and experience with what we were seeing. Sure, you can go tour yourself but I would've been completely lost and confused without Kapil's guidance. Great experience!

Wonderful tour. Yadab is a PhD in the making and he knows a lot. The vibe was good, the stories were good. Definately stands out amongst other tours as it gives so deep understanding about tantric culture and the religion around it. Highly recommended!

A very calm and knowledgeable guide. This tour was truly special. I went on three tours, and this one became my favorite. It felt so unusual in the best way, definitely a unique experience. The guide knew all the small details of the ceremony and chose great spots so everything was clearly visible, which made a big difference.
