Free Walking Tours through the Alfama Lisboa

Inês is an amazing tourguide. She conveys a lot of information in a very entertaining way, and really made me feel like I got to know Lisbon a bit.

It was amazing! Love everything Our guru (Inês) had such an amazing vibe, she was so lovely and fun. Loved how much she knew about Lisbon and her way of sharing that knowledge with all of us. The tour is super complete, the 3 hours flew by because it was so fun and entertaining

Fraga was energetic, informed and a great tour guide. He was animated which was really engaging, taking us all over Lisbon to see the sites and explain the city through it's history. He seemed to know lots of people and is clearly a well liked individual in the city, which added characters to the tour.

The guide was a master at telling stories that intertwine in a natural, comical, and fascinating way. The tour took in beautiful places, included surprises, and above all, provided a lot of interesting information.

Walter was a wonderful host and gave us such an informative, insightful and entertaining walking tour of Alfama. Walter revealed the history of the heart of Lisbon and peppered it with ‘local’ knowledge. We were enthralled and he had a captive audience as he guided us through the twists and turns in Alfama’s streets. The choc cup of cherry liqueur and the pastel de nata were the icing on a marvellous walking tour with the wonderful Walter. Thank you so much!

Ines was just an outstanding tour guide. She spoke excellent English and was very easy to understand. She showed us many interesting sites and explained them all very well. I would highly recommend the tour. My only caveat is if you have mobility issues, this tour isn’t for you. There are quite a few steps. Lisbon is very hilly!

Jack was a great guide and the tour was very informative and entertaining. Jack was very cognizant of people needing to take breaks due to hills and heat, and he did a wonderful job providing information. I wish all of my gurus were exactly like Jack

Amazing guide!!

Beatriz is the first female guide I met in guru walk tours and I have done it in more than 20 states. She is energetic, considerate and knowledgeable, all of which are important personal traits to be a good guide. This three-hour tour is the best tour I have had on guru walk!

We had a tour with Fraga and it was really funny and cool. The only thing that I hated is that at some point we were brought to a tasting place of some liquere and the owner gave me 2 Bulgarien euros instead of actuall euros. I didn't even know it existed - dropped my trust to such tours and i was really dissapointed. Now I am stuck with this currency and feel scammed
