Where do I start with Antonio… my partner and I turned up for a 3 hour tour when we were visiting for the day. Antonio said that it was only us and he would still continue with a private tour, which was so lovely given the time and effort for such a small group. Antonio took us around authentic areas which were off the beaten track. He gave us so much insight into the culture and the history - which was so interesting! Antonio treated us with a Pastel De Nata which was a nice and unexpected treat - I definitely recommend the cinnamon on top! Great tip! Finally, Antonio shared with us so many tips of restaurants and wines - going above and beyond! We highly recommend and by far the best tour guide we have had in all the years we have done walking tours across Europe. Abrigada Antonio! See you next time - from Colin & Antonia :)

Il tour con Valeria è stata una scelta super azzeccata! La sua guida sapiente ci ha condotti lungo strade e piazze dall'enorme rilevanza storica e con la sua preparazione ci ha regalato una quantità enorme di informazioni sul passato del quartiere di Alfama dal punto di vista geografico, storico, geopolitico e folkloristico. Abbiamo fatto tappa in una pasticceria per assaporare i pastel de nata e una tappa da una nonnina a bere il miglior Ginja fatto in casa. Per finire ci ha dato consigli su dove andare a mangiare e quali monumenti e chiese da visitare. Per me è stata una guida preparata, divertente e molto accogliente! Consigliatissima!

I use Guru walks most of the time and it is never disappointing. Their guides are fun, they know their stuff and they are usually multidisciplinary. This time, José has a title in tourism, he mentioned he is studying (or studied history) and is also a musician. Great combination for a Lisbon tour.

Would highly recommend George for this, many spontaneous information are thrown in in an entertaining manner. One note is you may need to allocate additional time more than the 3 hours, but time fly by without us realizing

This was a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting walking tour with Jack! It lasted approximately 2.5 hours, had quite a lot of uphill as it was the Alfama district but Jack took us at a good pace with sensible stops to catch our breath. He also made sure everyone was with us before he continued. Many many thanks to Jack!

This was a great tour and we learnt a lot about Portuguese history as well as Lisbon itself.

Adriana è un’ottima giuda (e lo dico da collega). Al punto giusto tra simpatia e professionalità. Ci ha anche dato moltissime info utili per il soggiorno (ristoranti, consigli su Lisboa, consigli per visitare Sintra ecc). Il tour é lungo, più di 3 ore, però ne vale la pena, é completissimo e si vede tutto bene. La degustazione nel mezzo fa molto piacere!

Went on the free walking tour with Guru today, our guide was named Jack. Jack is from Ireland but has lived in Lisbon for over three years. Jack was patient and kind. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and true to form, a natural storyteller. Absolutely loved the experience! Thank you Jack!
