Free Walking Tours through the Alfama Lisboa

A wonderful introduction to Lisbon on our first day. Enjoyed hearing about the history of Lisbon.

I had a really great experience with this guided tour. Everything was well organized, and the guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The places we visited were interesting and gave a good overview of the area. The pace of the tour was perfect—not too fast and not too slow—and there was enough time to enjoy each stop. I especially appreciated how the guide made the experience engaging and enjoyable for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a simple and pleasant way to explore the destination!

Excellent tour.

The tour with J. CRESPO was amazing! He shared the history of Portugal in a very knowledgeable and passionate way, it was definitely the best way to know more about the city and the country!! We even got a tasting surprise during the tour 😊🤌🏼 I loved every second on it. When I saw the duration of 3 hours, I was afraid it would be very boring tour. But Crespo made it interesting and 3 hours were as felt as 30 minutes. Time flies when we are having fun, isn't it? I simply loved the tour. It is a must for all Lisbon visitors! :)

I've done many Guru walks all over Europe and Rita's walk was of the same quality I always find. They're informative, interesting and amusing. So I wasn't surprised at the quality. Highly recommended, they're a good way to orient yourself to the city you're visiting.

Great intro to the lay of the land and the history behind the neighborhoods and the important monuments. Joao was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend this tour.

We had a brilliant time with António! The tour was very well planned out and provided a perfect introduction to the history of Lisboa and by extension Portugal as a whole. There were so many interesting facts and local tips that we would have never discovered on our own. António was a great host who immediately made us feel welcome and was happy to answer any and all questions we had. As a bonus, his personal map of notable sites & recommendations has been a great resource for the rest of our trip. 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an excellent tour with Crespo. This was a great way to start our trip in Lisbon. He took us all around, it was a very thorough tour. Each stop and story was very entertaining and helped me understand the city better. I learned a lot, had fun, and fell in love with Lisbon. Great storytelling! Highly recommend.
