Free Walking Tours through the Alfama Lisboa

We had a great time. Most of the walk was set to go down hills, we had maybe 3 parts uphill. In Lisbon that takes some planning. Very informative and fun.

Guide was entertaining. Group was way too big.

It was amazing tour and definitely one of the best walking tours I've ever been to. Bruno was excellent all thru with information, energy and entertainment. I'd highly recommend.

The stories in context (the neighborhoods) were both grounding & entertaining! The walking was a bonus.

The tour is a nice way to start a trip and covers 4 major areas in Lisbon. It is worth the time and energy and I would highly recommend. Beatriz shares beautiful insights about Lisbon's history, art, architecture, literature, culture, food. Beatriz is very knowledgeable, supportive, shares useful tips and blends 'saudade' with fun. Thank you for a wonderful 3 hours in Lisbon.

Jorge Crespo was an amazing guide! He took us to some very interesting locations with an entertaining and insightful history lesson lesson at each spot. He added just the right amount of humor to keep the group interested and entertained! The tastings made it even better! We highly recommend Jorge Crespo & this tour!

We really enjoyed our tour with Crespo. He is clearly a very experienced tour guide who is passionate and knowledgeable about his city and its history and beauty. It was also clear in his way of presenting the tour that he majored in storytelling theory as he really took us in with his way of telling, we weren't bored for a minute and the tour felt like it was going by much faster than the 3 hours scheduled for it! We also felt like we learned a lot and got interesting and honest answers to our questions. We even got a very good pastel de nata as part of the tour and great views of the city. We feel like we really got to know Lisbon on a deeper level thanks to this tour. Thank you Crespo for your efforts and enthusiasm, you made our stay in Lisbon even better!

Luckily for me I was the only person on my tour so I had the best experience. Absolutely 5 stars for Antonio!! Lots of variety of information and energy and charm and he’s also happy to be flexible and asked what I was most interested in. He shows you a couple of really great short cuts and packs lots into the time available. Antonio’s love of his city really shines through every word. Book him, you won’t regret it!

The walk around the city was amazing. On our arrival, we got split into different groups, one for Spanish speakers and two smaller groups for the English guide. Joana was fantastic during the whole tour, very prepared and entertaining. We received many pieces of information about the city and Portugal, including its history and vibrant culture. The walk was very enjoyable and not as hard as expected, compared to how hard some of the routes you choose to walk in Lisbon can be.

Lia is amazing to share what she knows about Lisbon. Really enjoyed her storytelling and all the histories about Portugal. Didn’t feel 3 hours is too long!

Telma was a brilliant tour guide and really gave a good taster for the city. Her professionalism and knowledge of the city was evident throughout as was her passion for the job. Absolutely loved her singing also and it definitely made the tour that bit more special! She was also very conscious of other tours going on and considerate to all involved. Would highly recommend!

Fun and easy way of geriatric an overview of the place you are visiting. Will definitely start doing this everywhere I travel.
