Tour description
I will show you the history of Madrid through many funny stories. We will start the tour in Sol, right at the bottom of a large clock that has a very special meaning every December 31, at 12 pm; You will also discover why this square is called Puerta del Sol. From there, we will go to the Plaza Mayor, which, originally, was the main market in the city. Later we will visit Botín, the oldest restaurant in the world according to Guinness Records. How about an aperitif at the Mercado de San Miguel? After that great aperitif, we will continue enjoying Madrid de los Austrias (the old part of the city), where we will find the Old Town Hall, with its tower from 1494; the Military Cathedral; the tower of San Nicolás, from 1202; the Arab wall of the city, from the 9th century BC.
