Welcome to Nottingham - Free Walking Tour
I am Tien from Vietnam and I am a postgraduate student in Nottingham, United Kingdom. I enjoy reading, volunteering, and travelling. I hope you can have wonderful time when exploring new places with me. You are welcome to share your ideas or feedbacks with me before, during, and after the tour.
Tour description
This is the first guruwalk to explore different and unique places of Nottingham City in a few hours. What are we going to do and see during this free walking tour? 1. Robinhood statue, and Nottingham Castle: The castle is currently under reconstruction, so you can only have a look from outside. However, it is worth to see the symbolic hero statue of the city 2. City of caves, and National Justice Museum: It is required to buy an entrance ticket. You can get a discount when you bring your student card. I will show you the free exhibition in the museum. 3. Nottingham Contemporary: Over here, you can buy some souvenirs or just enjoy the gallery. 4. National Ice Centre, and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham: No matter whether you are a big fan of ice-skating or not, you can give it a try when visiting Nottingham. We can come here to simply satisfy your curiosity about ice-skating and various sports or music events at the arena. Note: There is an out-door ice-skating area, known as "Nottingham Winter Wonderland", opened in the evening through the Christmas season. 5. Many other interesting things that we will find out together during the tour. Are you ready to join me for special experiences in Nottingham and a great free tour? ***Small tips for explorers: 1. Come early (5-10 minutes), or be on time to show your readiness for your upcoming great adventure. 2. Have a bottle of water (and some snacks if you like) to help yourself to push your energy during the tour. 3. Use comfortable clothing and shoes to enjoy walking and taking good photos. 4. Share ideas or feedbacks about the destinations (or anything) with me or other travelers if possible.
