We had a great tour with Omar. It ended up just being two of us and unfortunately we got caught in the rain half way through the tour. We kept pushing through and learned a whole lot about the area. The tour points out all the different locations to have night life and gives you an idea of what those places are like, and the cost range. At the end of the tour, we learned more about the history of the city along the boardwalk and well reviewing a lot of the statues. It definitely was a lot of walking so wear your comfy shoes.

This was almost like a nature walk because Omar knows so much about the trees and flowers and fruits and birds that you see along the way. After strolling a small town, we went to a beautiful beach, had great seafood tostadas and took a swim. At a very calm beach. Omar has lived in the US, but grew up in Mexico, so his English is expert and his knowledge of this area, and others is also excellent. Very friendly and personable, I recommend any of his tours.

Omar is delightful!! He’s very well prepared and has a lot of emotional attachment and interest to the tour and Puerto Vallarta. If asked a question of which he may not know the answer, his response is , “I’ll have to research that!!” He brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as guide. This was an amazing tour! If you are looking for local food recommendations and want to immerse yourself in the culture of Puerto Vallarta, this tour is for you. Our Guru Memo has been a long time resident and is very passionate about his city and it's culture. We started the 3 hour long tour at a local breakfast joint where the food was simple and flavorful. Post breakfast we spent some time at the lady of Guadalupe church and then we walked through some really beautiful hidden neighborhoods. Though the tour, Memo presented us valuable information that would help us through the rest of the trip and also any future trips. I would totally recommend this tour and as mentioned, try to do this on your first day of visit.

Our guide, Omar, was awesome-super knowledgable and very attentive. He provided great info about the forest and history along the hike. The hike itself is moderate and no joke, so come prepared, wear runners! Definitely bring water a towel and snacks since you don’t eat lunch until the very end, Omar pointed out all possible hazards along the way(beach is very rocky!). He knew the locals which made us feel very comfortable. He was very interactive throughout the day. We skipped the tequila tasting and swimming, our choice but it was offered. Part of the tour had zip line, which was not offered to us during the hike however, hindsight, we probably wouldn’t have done it as it was a long hot day! But we would highly recommend this walking tour with Omar!

Omar is very professional and funny. He can give a lot of information about plants and trees. We were impressed by how knowledgeable he is. He brought us to places that we could never have found by ourselves. He provided walking sticks and a snorkelling gear. We had a great time!

We had such an enjoyable morning with Memo, starting with a reasonably priced and delicious breakfast! Our tour and exploration took us off the Malecón and into the neighborhood to experience some history, culture, and great recommendations. We would not have found up these things on our own and really appreciated the grounding in Puerto Vallarta!

Memo was AMAZING!!!! We only wish we booked him earlier in our trip to Puerto Vallarta but he was booked solid for a week of our 2 weeks! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, personable, and provided a proper authentic guided tour of the romantica and centro zones of Puerto Vallarta. I cannot recommend him enough. Translated by the Google Box as my Spanish is Poopy. ¡Memo fue INCREÍBLE! Solo desearíamos haberlo reservado antes en nuestro viaje a Puerto Vallarta, pero estuvo completamente ocupado durante una de nuestras dos semanas. Fue muy conocedor, amable, divertido, cercano y nos brindó un auténtico recorrido guiado por las zonas Romántica y Centro de Puerto Vallarta. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente.

We really enjoyed the tour with Memo. The breakfast was excellent. After breakfast there was a lot of walking involving hills and stairs as we ventured into the neighborhood away from the Malecón behind the Church of Guadalupe. We also visited the Isla Cuale. There was plenty of time and we didn’t ever feel rushed. I highly recommend this tour, but if you have young children I recommend leaving the stroller behind:)
