Free Walking Tours at Hong Kong

Buena actitud y disposición para resolver dudas, me gustaría que hubiera tours en español, mi inglés es básico pero Andy tiene la disposición de Explicar.

Summer was amazing! Very knowledgeable and fun to listen to! She also had prepared a list filled with lots of vegan food recommendations that she shared with me. I really appreciated this!!! Thank you summer! We loved the dim sum at LochCha!

I loved my tour with Alice this morning! It was a great introduction to Hong Kong and its complexities. I really appreciated Alice blending the history and culture of the city with her own personal story. A very sweet person and informative guide😊 I highly recommend doing this tour!

I much prefer a 3 hour tour like this than the shorter ones, as we managed to cover an greater area on foot, on the trams and on the Star Ferry. I appreciated Andy's use of headsets, which I think should be a requirement for all walking tours.

A great route for a tour with some good facts (and rumours). Particularly appreciated how quickly we were able to get up the monetary authority building.

Ice is a very good guide, I really enjoyed her talk. It would be very good if guruwalk could recognize that some guides are female, in their review language.

Wind was an excellent guide! I felt like the information on this tour really went outside the box and gave me information I don’t think other tours would cover - it gave a really interesting perspective on how Hong Kong has been shaped by both Chinese and British influences, and was very engaging. I would highly recommend it!

Gracias Andy! Además hace fotos buenísimas 🤗

Andy is a wonderful and dedicated guide. He not only know the history of Hongkong very well but also shared his valuable personal experience with the city, including the perspective of change that has been happening to Hongkong in recent years. The tour was well-designed and I am very thankful to Andy for encouraging us to visit the Hindu temple although it was heavily raining. He spent more time with only two of us than was provided for the tour. We really appreciated this. Andy has also recommended us great places to eat and local bakery - I wouldn’t have gotten there by myself. I recommend this tour to everyone who would like to get a good understanding of quite tangled history of Hongkong and feel more local in this huge and multicultural city.

Alice, the tour guide, is a force of nature: full of energy, passion and character. A Hong Kong native, she has lived through the huge changes in Hong Kong’s relationship with China and brings plenty of personal stories and family anecdotes. The tour is simple and relaxed: a few landmarks, with history and her own reflections woven into them. Not a long or ambitious tour, but Alice’s passion makes it special. Highly recommended!
