Our virtual walk was fascinating. Panos took me to a trip down history and philosophy, was very knowledgeable and gave me food for thought to look up on my own. Highly recommended!
In this new world, where one can no longer walk the streets of a city due to the pandemic, I’ve found the next best thing – a tour/survey from the comfort of your own home. It was quite nice that I could hop on a video from the U.S. and be led through the history of Athens by a resident of the city. Architecture, philosophy, battles – much of what shaped the amazing ancient Athens were covered. Pictures and videos supplemented the discussion. Panos is warm and knowledgeable. My many questions were answered kindly – and I came away wanting to read more about the people and the history we covered. As the tour was quite enjoyable, it has made me want to next head to Athens to visit the many locations we talked about. That will be the first trip I make, after the world opens up again.
