Roger was fabulous!

Jose was excellent. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Our tour lasted 2.5 hrs. and we were pleased that Jose proceeded with the tour despite there just being 4 of us. (This being done to us on another tour). Jose bought history to life with his interesting stories and the use of old drawings and maps. He answered all our questions and kept us entertained with questions to keep us involved. A fabulous tour and introduction to the history and culture opf Coimbra. Thankyou Jose.

Posiblemente el mejor guía que hayamos tenido hasta ahora!! Coimbra es una ciudad pequeñita pero se hace muy completa e interesante con él. Si vas a conocer esta ciudad este tour es imprescindible.

Roger nos trasmitió su pasión por Coímbra, con sus historias y curiosidades nos hizo apreciar el encanto de la ciudad, dejándonos con muy buen sabor de boca.

Sin duda fue un acierto contar con Roger para conocer Coimbra. El entusiasmo con el que te lleva por sus calles te atrapa desde el minuto uno. Y el enorme conocimiento de la ciudad te lleva al pasado y te trae al presente a cada paso que das.

We had a wonderful three-hour walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent communicator. I learned so much about the Coimbra, including many historical details and fun facts. You could truly feel how passionate he is about the city and its history. The tour was engaging from beginning to end, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this town. Plus a lot of good recommendations - we visited a very nice place for dinner and wonderful Fado concert. Amazing!!!

A beautiful way to spend the night with Ricardo who was very knowledgeable and personable. Such a stunning city especially at night! Totally recommend this tour.

Thank you Ricardo for showing us your city. We did walking tours in other cities before but this was by far the best. We got a private tour (only 2 of us) of historic sites and how todays life is influenced by tradition. No questions were left unanswered and we had a great time with you. We can highly recommend and would give 6 stars if possible

Perfect tour. The guide was super interesting and knew so much about history which he knew how to present in an interesting way. I think the whole group was very much involved from the start to the end.

We really enjoyed this walking tour. Jose shows you key landmarks in Coimbra in addition to the University and provides great background history. Finding him at the start was easy. The walk is up hill, but he stops at different places to slow the pace. Would recommend!!

Genuinely the best tour I've ever had. Roger was enthusiastic and super informative. I've never been one for intricate historical or architectural details, but Roger delivers everything in such an engaging manner, you can't help but want to listen and remember everything!
