"Hamburg On Foot" means Free Tour, it means guided tours and authentic walks. Jan is a Hamburger, born and raised in this city. He speaks Spanish almost like an Argentine and he is going to show you Hamburg as he knows it. Oscar is already almost more Hamburger than Argentine too. If you like tango don't forget to ask him which are the most important tango venues here in Hamburg. Fernando has lived in Hamburg for more than 40 years. He has a very particular humor and would like to show you this charming city from his point of view. Ramiro is the youngest of our team, but be careful! he knows very well where he is living and he would like to surprise you and show you this city by looking at it through his eyes.
The blue umbrellas invite you to discover the city of Hamburg. Our Free Tour through the Historic Center begins at 11:15 a.m. in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. At this point we will wait for you with our blue umbrellas ready to go. We will start from here, and we will get into the historic center where we will pass through places such as:
· The Old Town Hall
· The church of St. Petri
· The Cathedral Square
· The Church of St. Nikolai; a memorial to the second world war
· Deichstrasse, one of the oldest streets in Hamburg
And finally the city of warehouses explaining more than 1200 years of history. We will end the tour at German Unity Square in front of the Elbphilharmonie at 1:15 PM. With this Free Tour we will get you to take unforgettable images of the city.
