Free Street art tour León Nicaragua
Tour description
The urban artwork tells the story of Nicaragua up to the 19th century and offers a glimpse into the identity of Nicaraguans, illustrating their battles, chaotic moments, and vibrant ones.
It was precisely at one of these moments—in the 1980s, a time of struggle and reconstruction—that the muralist movement was born, soon spreading like wildfire to the point that, in a short time, more than 1,000 murals were painted in Nicaragua.
Then it's the turn of other murals, which allude to the revolution —of which León has become the capital —and offer us some of the most representative images of the 20th century.
This free tour will be like watching a documentary about the country's past, present, and perhaps future.
*Note*
Tour will be carried out with a minimum of 3 people.
