Tour description

Discover a startling, centuries-old subterranean marvel hiding in plain sight: "Agrasen Baoli", a breathtakingly beautiful stepwell.
Also enjoy a fascinating experiences laden tour to the Timeless "Old Delhi", discover A journey to a bygone era, to the private mansions or Haveli's of Old Delhi and to the ancient temples hidden inside narrow bylanes.
Also visit a hidden traditional "Washermen Locality" known as "Dhobi Ghat", where the traditional wahermen (Dhobi's) manually clean and iron thousands of clothes / linen everyday

Meet the walk leader right outside the "Barakhamba" Metro station. We start walking and reach this ancient marvel with 15 minutes.
"Agrasen Baoli " stepwell is a puzzle for the modern engineering with its flights of stone steps going deep into the earth like a maze. "Agrasen baoli" is also considered one of the most haunted places in town by the locals, thanks to tales of curses, demons, suicides, and ghosts that often surround stepwells. The deep shadows, dark water, and echo of flapping pigeons can guarantee a creepy atmosphere, but that can change.

Proceed for a quick stopover at the traditional "Washermen locality" knowns as "Dhobi Ghat". Be amazed to see how manually with their own hands, washermen cleaning thousands of clothes, they beat clothes on a stone slab to get rid of dirt and stains, then further using cement slabs to pound, scrubbing the clothes.

Time to go back to the "Barakhamba" Metro Station to board a short train ride to "Old Delhi". You can also take a short "TUK-TUK" costing only INR 70 Per Person.
After arriving in Old Delhi, we walk towards the giant stairs and steps of "Jama Mosque", for a photo stop only, it is the biggest mosque of India built by the creator of Taj Mahal " The Shah Jahan". NOTE: Those who wish to visit this grand ancient structure from inside, they can do so by paying the requisite entrance fees of INR 350 Per Person.
Now we are entering the most famous Haveli (mansion of Mughal era), "Mirza Ghalib haveli", who was a noted Mughal courtier and a poet. Lost in the Chaos of bustling "Chandni Chowk", Mirza Ghalib’s 300-Year-Old Haveli is a Forgotten Treasure.

Spice Market: We shall walk towards the largest spice hub of Asia! Be amazed to see the bustling bazaar full of colourful spices and the merchant shops.
Finally walk back OR take a short Bicycle Rickshaw Ride to the Metro train station.
