Tour with local host - Free Sunset Experience

In this dynamic and entertaining free tour, we are not going to focus on the history of the historic center of the old Colonia del Sacramento , declared a World Heritage Site since 1995.

We are going to briefly show each point of interest without going into deep historical details in an academic way.

Our focus will be the stage of the South District prior to the Historic District

We also invite you to taste our classic Uruguayan grappamiel while watching the best sunset in the world!

Some of the relevant places that we will briefly visit are:

Exterior Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament and House of the Governors Ruins
Wall and Porton de Campo (Citadel Gate)
St. Michael's Bastion
Street of Sighs and interior of Galeria del Buen Suspiro (depending on the opening days)
Exterior Ruins of the Convent of San Francisco Xavier and Lighthouse
Colonial Tile and Map Museum
Bastion of Santa Rita and The Rocks
