Free scenic tour of La Honda from Medellín

Welcome to this free tour in the middle of nature.
We will start the tour from where the public transport vehicle leaves us and we will start our walk of approximately one hour. During our tour we will have the opportunity to discover a beautiful landscape of pine trees and water.
The walk ends at the 50 meter high waterfall where we can take photos and bathe.

itinerary:
- Departure from Medellin by transport at 7:00 am by public service bus (the ticket is not included) approximately 1 hour on the road.
- Arrival at the village of Versalles in Santa Barbara where we will have breakfast and begin the walk.
- The walk lasts approximately 3 hours between going and returning to the starting point.
- The main point of the walk will be a waterfall 50 meters high.

Important information for the walker:

• Difficulty: 1.5 with 5 being the highest point.
• Distance from Medellin: 53km
• Distance of the route on foot 10 km between round trip
• It begins in the village of Versailles and ends in the same part.
• Things to bring: comfortable clothes, trekking shoes, hydration, dark glasses, hat or sun cap, camera or phone with a camera to capture landscapes, money to buy food.
• To take into account: it is a simple walk, however, people must be able to go and return since no type of transportation arrives at the place.
• Lunch is between 15 and 18 thousand pesos depending on the chosen menu but it is optional, you can bring your own lunch or food
