As an elector of Rotterdam, I am happy to share my enthusiasm for this spectacular city on the Meuse. I moved here from Austria 7 years ago and speak German, English and Dutch accordingly. With my experience from numerous lectures, a cultural degree and my personal interest, I would like to share my insights into Rotterdam with you!
This up-and-coming city has captivated me for seven years. Rotterdam, also known as "Manhattan on the Maas", impresses with its modern architecture, a breathtaking skyscraper silhouette and idyllic rivers. But this tour offers much more than just impressive buildings.
During our joint exploration of Rotterdam, I will introduce you to the diversity of this city. We will visit places of interest ranging from history and culture to art and vibrant city life.
Discover the internationality that characterizes Rotterdam and learn more about the architectural and maritime background, such as the smart interaction between the city and its port, which makes it an important economic center, and the water management for which Rotterdam is world-famous.
But that's not all. Rotterdam is a city full of surprises that will reveal themselves to you, at least in a first impression. During and after the tour, I will be happy to provide you with further tips and tailor-made recommendations for your further stay!

You can find me with a red umbrella in the park of the "Big Church" (Laurenskerk), right on the meadow. Here you will also find seating while waiting for the other participants.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
