Strolling through the streets of Lisbon is an enriching experience, but doing it at night is even more captivating. With our Free Tour of Nighttime Lisbon, you can discover its illuminated monuments or climb to some viewpoints to enjoy unparalleled views alongside our local Spanish-speaking guides.
The walk begins next to the Monumento ao Calceteiro, in the Praça dos Restauradores, and we will head to the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, from where we will enjoy a spectacular nighttime panorama of the city. We will continue to the elegant Largo do Chiado, passing by the historic Bertrand Bookstore and the Armazéns do Chiado, before reaching the evocative illuminated ruins of the Carmo Convent.
Very close by, we will view the Baixa from the Santa Justa Elevator and continue to the lively Praça do Rossio, where we will learn about the history of the Doña Maria II National Theatre. Strolling through the ever-vibrant Rua Augusta, we will delve into the heart of Lisbon's historic center.
The tour will continue to the Lisbon Cathedral, whose illuminated appearance transports us to medieval Lisbon, and we will be amazed by the imposing illuminated Arco da Rua Augusta. We will end the tour at the majestic Praça do Comércio, next to the Cais das Colunas, enjoying the reflection of the lights on the Tagus River.
