Discover Boquete on foot – Historical, cultural and natural tour
Tour description
Explore the heart of Boquete with this walking tour that combines history, culture, and nature.
We start at E-Valley Bikes Boquete, a space dedicated to sustainable mobility, where you'll learn about our network of local businesses and the positive impact of responsible tourism. From there, we walk to the Boquete Library, a symbol of cultural and educational development, and its beautiful park, where we'll talk about the region's unique climate, the Barú Volcano, and the trails that connect its mountains.
We continue to City Hall, where you'll learn about Boquete's political and social structure, its six districts, and how it has shaped its history, including the old railroad projects. We continue to Paseo de los Novios, an iconic meeting and local transportation point. We then visit the Fruit and Vegetable Market, where you'll learn about the agricultural production of Boquete, Volcán, and Cerro Punta.
We cross the Boquete Fair Bridge, home to the district's most important event: the Flower and Coffee Fair, with its history, aromas, and colors. We end at the Handicraft Market, where you can browse local pieces and pick up an authentic souvenir.
This tour takes place on Friday afternoons and is ideal for those who want to explore Boquete beyond its landscapes: its people, its history, and its essence.
