Hello! My name is Mahmoud, and I am an official tour guide in Fes with a deep passion for history, culture, and architecture. I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and Civilization, and I have spent years researching the rich heritage of Morocco, especially the fascinating stories behind the old medina of Fes. I have also published several articles on topics such as Economic theories, the Meiji Ishin, and from Zaibatsu to Keiretsu. I love sharing authentic local experiences and helping visitors discover hidden gems that many travelers miss. I've also enjoyed exploring other historic cities like kyoto, trier, and Granada. In my free time, I enjoy reading books that connect Morocco's history with broader civilizations, especially "The Ornament of the World: How Muslims, Jews, and Christians Created a Culture of Tolerance in Medieval Spain" by María Rosa Menocal, a work that inspires my storytelling and deepens my appreciation of Morocco's cultural and spiritual legacy.
