Barcelona Food Tour

All other participants cancelled and our guide took us on the tour by ourselves. We went to a few places for snacks and then the 3 of us had drinks and tapas. Very enjoyable.

Tour was the highlight of Barcelona. Boris' knowledge and strong relationships with food desinations provided ann exceptional experience learning about an tasting food. The Iberian ham experience was unparallelled learning about the grading of ham, differences, and tasting a variety. Plus nuts, local nougut candy, the markets and other shops with this vibrant tour guide are a must do in the city. Boris incorporated history and architecture of the city with the culinary highlights.

I had a great tour with Boris. Even though I was the only person attending we still made the tour. I got a really interesting insight into Spanish and Catalan food culture, and Boris showed me lots of authentic food shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend booking a tour with him :)

Ich hatte die Tour bereits einen Tag zuvor gebucht und war der einzige Gast und damit die Tour abgesagt, ich bekam trotzdem individuelle Tipps wohin ich essen gehen konnte. Einen Tag später habe ich die Tour nochmal gebucht und bekam, weil ich wieder alleine war, eine private Tour. Tolle Auswahl der Lokale und Hilfe bei der Auswahl der Gerichte. Würde diese Tour immer wieder bei Camillo buchen, vielen Dank.

Hana’s food shopping, cooking, walking tour was so much fun! Perfect Catalan food choices. (Will even be able to make back home!). She easily navigated Raval, Born and Gotic neighborhoods and shared a locals knowledge as well as city history. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour gide was outgoing, friendly and knowledgable about the city and it's food. We had a fun time and sampled sweet and savory food, and beverages. A good time was had by all.

We joined a free walking tour with Thornike, and it was one of the best experiences of our trip. Together with my wife we took part in the tour. Tornike is a very authentic and genuine person who really loves what he does. The tour was planned in a unique and thoughtful way and never felt boring. What we liked most was his ability to bring people together. From the start, he created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and everyone felt comfortable. Because of him, the group felt more like friends than strangers. Warm greetings to the girls from Canada and India, and to the lovely couple from Germany who joined us on the tour. a tour focusing on the main reason why we come to Barcelona, the food, right?! It was a very interesting tour and we really had fun! He also sent us a list of good places for food, paella and tapas! I definitely recommend this tour!

Don’t miss this experience! The Gastronomic Gems of Barcelona tour was a highlight of our trip, and Tornike was exceptional. He was authentic, connected easily with everyone in the group, which made for great conversation throughout. We wandered beautiful old streets, stopped at the Santa Caterina Market, and enjoyed fantastic tastings of Iberian ham, cheese, chocolate, and traditional Catalan sweets. Wander-ful Tours did a great job organizing this experience, and Tornike’s local recommendations were authentic and never touristy. This tour is an absolute must-do in Barcelona.

Our guru was amazing!. He was so knowledgeable and even though we were only 2 people, I felt it was very very nice that he still went on the tour with us and made sure that we were not lacking in any sense. I appreciate that he connected the world of gastronomy and sciences and technology and made sure that the culture was heavily involved in creating this tour. I got to try some great cheese and churros, and he let me know that we don't have to go to all of it so that we could enjoy walking around rather than feeling too full. I felt very taken care of and how customized he would our trip and answered our all questions with so much zeal and passion. If you really want somebody who knows food and can connect the dots, I highly recommend taking his tour! Beyond food as well, he connected with history too.

Camilo was fantastic! We were the only two on the tour and he offered us a chance to change to a tour with others, but we had a great time just with him. It felt like dinner with a friend. We followed his suggestions and tried things we’d never had before. Everything was delicious! Even the gelato on a rainy December night. Don’t change a thing Camilo!

Torrenike was very pleasant and knowledgeable and attentive to the group. He really connected everyone and his passion for food and sharing about Barcelona made the tour a lot of fun! Ray and I truly enjoyed it. Thank you!
