Joao was fantastic. Very personable with a tremendous command of the English language, and extremely informative, Not only about the tour but other elements like historical connotations related to Portugal, places to eat, visit and even other places to visit outside of Coimbra.

I joined a walking tour in Coimbra with Jose, and it was an excellent experience. We were a small group, which made the tour feel personal and gave everyone plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Jose covered everything I wanted to learn about Coimbra, and the pace was just right - informative without feeling rushed. One of the highlights was that he took us to some places away from the usual tourist spots, which gave a more authentic feel for the city. The atmosphere throughout the tour was relaxed and welcoming, and Jose was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer any questions. As an added bonus, he gave a detailed information sheet afterwards with recommendations and useful tips, which was very helpful. Overall, Jose is doing an amazing job. I would happily join another tour with him in the future and highly recommend his tours to anyone visiting Coimbra.

We really enjoyed the tour with José. One of the best I have done so far. He showed us the culture and traditions so well. It's a very well thought-out tour, full of surprises, and great storytelling. I recommend it 100%!
