Great intro to the Old Quarter with a lovely guide!

Really fun and interesting walk where we learnt a lot about Hanoi and Vietnam more broadly. Huyen was an excellent guide.

We really enjoyed the tour and found it a great start to our holiday in Vietnam.

Meldoy was so kind and knowledgeable, we really enjoyed our time with her. Now after the tour, we feel that we understand and know Ha Noi much better. we really recommend having the tour with her since she is so nice and professional .

I was the only one doing the tour with Pinky so it was like a private tour. Pinky was a professional and at the same time like a friend. Well balanced tour with just the right amount of info given. I especially enjoyed my 1st bike ride in Hanoi. Pinky was a good leader while biking, putting me at ease. Her lunch recommendation was exceptionally good! Book a tour with Pinky, you won’t regret it!

This was a great introduction to Hanoi. Huyen is such a knowledgeable guide and was very entertaining as well as informative. She introduced us to so many different types of foods and covered a large a history in a short space of time. I would definitely recommend this tour!

It’s not really a review, the tour was cancelled because there weren’t enough people signed up. But they text me before the tour to confirm that.

Our tour guide Linh was AMAZING! My family of 4 from USA enjoyed how informative, enthusiastic, impressionistic, friendly, kind, modest, responsive to questions, and funny she was. Her English is incredible and near perfect, no pauses or accent, so she’s easily understandable and she does a great job at using her hands, gestures, and body language to keep the group engaged and uses a small headset/speaker so it is easy to hear her. She created a very intimate tour for our small group and had cool stories to tell about the history, the country and culture, the language, her family, and her own personal life and travel experiences. She took us into many temples and gave us a lot to learn about, took us down many hidden streets and alley ways in the old quarter, markets, and even into one of her family’s home for us to see how multiple people share a living space. Even when I thought the tour was over, she ended with taking us to a cooled (AC) cafe with beautiful lantern decor on the ceiling and chatted with all of us for another hour which I appreciated her sharing her time with us and getting to know her and those in our group better. We originally were going to go to the temple and walk around the old quarter ourselves, but we’re glad we chose to book/join this tour. Would highly recommend this for a better experience at getting a more knowledgeable, intimate experience from a kind local! Thank you Linh!

The tour was fantastic – honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Chris has such a genuine love for culture, and it really shows. He’s kind, welcoming, and full of wonderful stories that make you feel instantly connected. We not only explored on foot but also got to try local food with him, and even shared a coffee and a great conversation along the way. His passion for food is inspiring; besides leading walking tours, he also runs a cooking class and a food tour. He even gave us thoughtful tips on how to cook Vietnamese vegetarian dishes at home. Truly an unforgettable experience.

The walking tour was a great introduction to the Old Quarter in Hanoi. The guide managed to relay some of the history and local folklore while keeping it interesting and relevant to the area. Chris, our guide was super helpful with tips on what foods to try, where to find them, good local coffee shops etc.

Shaw was an amazing tour guide and host. We very much enjoyed our tour, he took us to some great spots and explained about the history behind them. He was so funny and made the tour really fun for us, would highly recommend. PERF!!
