Fue un tour muy completo, diferente a los que habiamos hecho por Japon hasta ahora. Visitamos los lugares prácticamente solos recibiendo mucha información sobre el lugar. Masa nos recogió incluso en su coche en la estación. Estuvo en contacto por wahtsapp en los días previos y tenía preparada una sorpresa para nosotros al finalizar. El sitio es precioso pero con Masa lo disfrutamos todavía más. Su conocimiento es impresionante. Muchas gracias!

Es un tour imprescindible si estás en Osaka. Diego nos centro históricamente y nos introdujo en todos los lugares con buenas explicaciones y curiosidades. Los ciervos son muy adorables pero muy insistentes con las galletas, al final se hacen un poco pesados. El guía fue un 10 para nosotros.

We are so happy to write this review for Shigeki and his Nara tour. Shigeki was the most helpful and informative guide. Communication before the tour was excellent and he even helped plan the journey from Osaka to meet him in Nara. The deer were my partners favourite but for me it was the grandeur and beauty of Todai-ji Temple. After the tour we went to a restaurant for lunch which again was another experience we were not expecting. Fantastic tour probably the best we have had in Japan.

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Shigeki! He is an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly easy to talk to. What I especially loved was how he shared not only the history of Nara, but also fascinating stories and local insights that you would never get from simply visiting the sights on your own. He made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and memorable. Shigeki clearly loves Nara and enjoys sharing its history and culture with visitors. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nara. If you have the chance to join one of Shigeki’s tours, definitely go for it—you won’t regret it!

Diego fue muy claro y paciente con nuestro grupo, ya que hubo muchas interrupciones por los ciervos y la gente que los acariciaba, pero pudimos saber mucho más sobre la historia de Nara y de sus templos! Súper recomendable

We had such a great time exploring Nara with Shigeki. He was warm, easy to talk to, and made the whole tour feel very relaxed. One thing we really appreciated was that he paid attention to what we were interested in and adjusted the tour naturally along the way. We spent extra time around the deer because our family was having so much fun, and he never made us feel like we had to hurry. He also showed us a few quieter spots that we definitely would have missed if we were walking around by ourselves. He knew a lot about Nara’s history, but the explanations never felt too long or complicated. It was just the right amount of information to make the temples, gardens, and streets feel more meaningful. At the end of the tour, he also helped us figure out where to eat and gave us a few suggestions for what to do afterward. It felt like he really wanted us to have a great day in Nara, not just finish the tour and leave. Nara ended up being one of our favorite places in Japan, and a big part of that was because of Shigeki. We would definitely recommend him.

Shigeki was honestly one of the best guides we had during our trip to Japan. He completely changed the way we experienced Nara. We probably would have just walked around Nara Park, seen the deer and visited a few temples on our own, but with Shigeki we got to see a completely different side of the city. He took us to some quieter places away from the crowds, showed us beautiful viewpoints and gardens, and shared little stories about Nara that made everything much more interesting. One of my favorite memories was when we were trying to take photos with the deer. Of course the deer were not cooperating at all, but Shigeki was so patient and somehow knew exactly where to stand and when to take the photo. We ended up with some of our favorite family pictures from the whole trip. He also gave us great food recommendations and never made the tour feel rushed. It really felt like spending the day with a local friend who genuinely loves Nara and wants you to enjoy it as much as he does. We were already looking forward to visiting Nara, but thanks to Shigeki it became one of the best days of our entire Japan trip. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Nara.

Diego fue un guía genial, nos hizo darnos cuenta de que Nara no es solo los ciervos y ya, sino que tiene mucha más historia de la que te imaginas. Además tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente al poder utilizar un cajero y nos ayudó y espero pacientemente, profesionalidad y amabilidad indiscutible. Shigeki was so nice and gave us a very e pensive tour in Nara. He took us to a lookout that gave us an overview of the city, then to 2 beautiful gardens. We really enjoyed going through the park with him and interacting with the deer. He knew all the best spots for photos and took so many wonderful pictures of us to help us remember Nara. He gave us information about the temples that we went to, and took us to an old style Japanese house. Shigeki was even kind enough to walk us to our train at the end of the tour. Thanks for the beautiful pictures you sent us!

Shigeki designed a tour suited to our needs and shared the details with us beforehand to get our feedback. He was patient and kind, providing detailed information in excellent English—which we understood well, even though we aren't very fluent in the language ourselves. He also gave us recommendations on where to have lunch and what else to see once the tour was over. I highly recommend him, not least because he knows the area very well; he is also a truly kind and friendly person—even with children! Thank you!
