Steve was hugely knowledgeable and very entertaining. He kindly agreed to allow us on the morning tour, although I'd booked the afternoon one, as our plans changed late. Portsmouth was buzzing, with the round the world Clipper boats due in that day, and the weather was great. Steve brought the history of the area to life for us, and we'll definitely be back for another visit, as there's so much to see.

Had a great tour of Portsmouth with Steve. He has a lovely manner. Very easy to listen to and loved his folder with accompanying photos. I learnt a lot of great fun and interesting facts. Steve was easy going and flexible.

We really enjoyed the tour round old Portsmouth- Steve did a great job relaying the history of the area through anecdotes and pictorials and gave us a sense of how life was before the redevelopment of the dockyard - an hour and a quarter well spent

Steve provides an excellent, entertaining and well-timed walk around old Portsmouth starting from near the Historic Naval Dockyards. Full of information and interesting stories about local characters, how Portsmouth developed and the Royal Navy of old. Also good information about restaurants etc. We enjoyed it very much!

Great walk with Steve around Portsmouth. So many interesting historical facts were shared during the tour. Steve also had amazing pictures that were memorable! He was fun throughout the tour! I’d highly recommend booking Steve!

During the visit, whenever I had a question, he answered immediately, and if something wasn’t clear he explained it with patience and clarity, also helping me with my English.
