Leila was an amazing guide! She provided a combination of history, art and culture while taking us around. She's very entertaining and knowledgeable. And you can see how she has great relationship with the locals by taking us on a quick food sampling of the local specialities as well!

Our Strasbourg walk with Leila on December 3, 2025, was fantastic! She provided a wonderful overview of the history of the city and mixed in recommendations of things to do, shops to visit, and restaurants to try along the way. This walk will provide a wonderful introduction to the heart of Strasbourg in two hours and will make you want to go back to certain areas to explore further on your own (i.e. Petit France). Since we were in Strasbourg during the busy Christmas market season, Leila did a great job in keeping the group together in the crowds and found quiet places for the group that got us away from the hustle and bustle.

Interesting tour, however there was a lack of organization in terms of keep loosing the guide especially in crowded areas, i have tried other tours in other countries & the guides kept checking on the number of people instead of loosing them

This is the foyrth walking tour we have taken with Guru -- Porto, Lisbon and now Strasbourg. We have been really pleased every time. Leila our guide in Strasbourg was passionate and excited to share the history and culture of her newly adopted home. This enthusiasm was contagious as we learned about the history, the culture, the food and even some of the idiosyncracies about Strasbourgese. We highly recommend taking one of these walks with Guru. And just a thought, try to be generous in what you pay your guide. Obviously, should be based on the quality but the guides we've had in our experiences have been super and if yous is too, I would encourage you to offer more than a token if you can afford it. The platform is loose and give you a lot of discretion which is nice. Let's reward that so they can keep offering this format.
