Our walk begins in Place Louis Lépine , very near the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral , one of the most characteristic monuments of Paris and one of the oldest Gothic cathedrals in the world.

We will continue exploring the City Island, one of the natural islands of the capital, where we will discover the Palais de la Cité , residence of French royalty for four centuries and made up of buildings of great historical and architectural value such as the Sainte-Chapelle .

Surrounded by the Seine, numerous bridges allow us to move between the banks of this Parisian river. Some stand out, such as the Saint Michel Bridge , the New Bridge or the Bridge of Arts , better known as the Bridge of Padlocks .

We will cross some of them to reach the magnificent Louvre Palace , where we will be surprised by its controversial glass pyramid and we will discover the curiosities of the statue of Louis XIV and the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel .

Our visit will end in the Tuileries Garden , enjoying beautiful views in one of the lungs of Paris, a place that its citizens use to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
