El hecho de ser graduada de la Universidad de Coimbra le da un toque único: conoce cada rincón, cada historia y transmite todo (y mas) con una pasión contagiosa. Ricardo was extremely nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the city and you can tell how much he loves his hometown. It felt very personal and in my opinion, better than other tours. Highly recommended!

Very good tour with a young and good guide

A pleasant stroll from the top end of Coimbra, from the aqueduct, through part of the Botanical Garden, University and down into town finishing along the river. Very leisurely paced, which would have benefited from more detailed information about the stages of Coimbra's culture & history. Breno had some interesting facts and stories, but it could have done with a bit more meat on the bones.

Roger, Ell Guia de Coimbra, was our guide on our tour this afternoon in Coimbra and he was the most entertaining tour guide I've experienced and I have been on many walking tours around Europe and the USA. Roger was a wealth of historical information and he presented it in a very amusing, fun way. I highly recommend his tour!

I am such a lucky traveler. I booked a walking tour of Coimbra and Ricardo reached out to see if I was comfortable as the only participant for the tour. I was, and had a 💯 percent excellent experience. Ricardo was a local who treated me like a lifelong friend. He showed me the highlights, explained the history to me and shared old stories of the area passed down through generations. I would have Never, Ever, known the stories and I was completely blow away by his knowledge, professionalism, and historical accuracy. I am so grateful for my time with him, and he even made me a “Proper student” with his cape. So so special. Loved everything about about it, and would gladly book with Ricardo again. Thank you so much for NOT canceling my tour, and as the only participant, he personally made sure I had an unforgettable experience. Best tour EVER!!!

Jose was excellent. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable and passionate. Our tour lasted 2.5 hrs. and we were pleased that Jose proceeded with the tour despite there just being 4 of us. (This being done to us on another tour). Jose bought history to life with his interesting stories and the use of old drawings and maps. He answered all our questions and kept us entertained with questions to keep us involved. A fabulous tour and introduction to the history and culture opf Coimbra. Thankyou Jose.

Posiblemente el mejor guía que hayamos tenido hasta ahora!! Coimbra es una ciudad pequeñita pero se hace muy completa e interesante con él. Si vas a conocer esta ciudad este tour es imprescindible.

Roger nos trasmitió su pasión por Coímbra, con sus historias y curiosidades nos hizo apreciar el encanto de la ciudad, dejándonos con muy buen sabor de boca.

Sin duda fue un acierto contar con Roger para conocer Coimbra. El entusiasmo con el que te lleva por sus calles te atrapa desde el minuto uno. Y el enorme conocimiento de la ciudad te lleva al pasado y te trae al presente a cada paso que das.

We had a wonderful three-hour walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and an excellent communicator. I learned so much about the Coimbra, including many historical details and fun facts. You could truly feel how passionate he is about the city and its history. The tour was engaging from beginning to end, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this town. Plus a lot of good recommendations - we visited a very nice place for dinner and wonderful Fado concert. Amazing!!!
