Be Local Tours Barcelona is a local, socially responsible and eco-friendly tour company created in 2017 by three friends: Carlos, Patrick and Riccardo. We adopt a small group philosophy of no more than 12 persons per tour to give our customers the requested security, the best experience and to respect the daily rhythm of the locals. We also help fighting global warming: for every 100 people that join our tours we plant a tree in Colombia with a local NGO. We have already planted more than 100 trees! ;-) Our tours based on entertaining storytelling, historical accuracy and a friendly approach have delighted thousands of enthusiastic travellers and received high ratings and reviews. Check us out to feel like a local!

About the tour

Join a small group and an experienced, enthusiastic guide in a journey through late 19th/early 20th century upmarket Barcelona, to see the life and works of Catalunya’s architectural genius Antoni Gaudí and his contemporaries.

Explore the social, cultural and political forces that literally shaped the physical appearances of these stunning buildings. Fancy houses of rich industrialists, merchants and chocolatiers with their astonishing details, flamboyant decoration that hide the secrets and amazing stories of their powerful owners. The famous Casa Milá, Casa Battló and many other fascinating buildings will surprise you with their unusual designs and shapes.

At the end, finish with an inspiring explanation of Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia, a unique church famous all over the world as the symbol of Barcelona.
