Hi! I’ve lived in this wonderful city of Bath for most of my life, including my university years. I’ve travelled the world and worked abroad too but Bath is exceptional, my forever home. You can walk amongst amazing architecture, and keep checking on the excellent eating, drinking, cultural and shopping treats. I’m a Guide because I’m proud of my city and I want everyone to share the hidden gems from our incredibly rich history, not just the main (also fantastic) tourist sites. Let’s walk together to explore how Bath developed from a cramped medieval town into one of the most elegant cities in the world. And see where and how Bridgerton was filmed!

So, what can I do next? The GuruTalk without the walk! Learn more about Bath from a real Bath resident, enthusiast and amateur historian - but this time without all the walking and the crowds, whilst relaxing in a traditional pub garden with a glass or two of wine or local beer.
Join our two-hour, small group round-table chat about Bath's deep and fascinating history, Roman and Georgian culture, and what it's like living here now. Bring your questions and fascinations, enjoy good company, and learn more about this amazing city. Conversation is in English.
